Rev. Tony Sellars is the host of The Christian Angler. He was born in Jefferson City, TN on September 22, 1959. He is the oldest of three sons born to Ted and Bobbie Sellars. He grew up in Morristown, TN and still lives there with his wife Sharon and their daughter Lindsey. Tony began fishing at an early age, he as most kids loved it. He traveled to the lake quiet often with his grandfather where he honed his fishing skills. Also, at an early age he became a very creative artist. He even sold a few paintings along the way. His artwork eventually led him into graphic arts, logo design and sign painting. Tony does all the logos, graphics designs and editing for the tv show. He fished professionally for several years making many "fishing buddies" and representing several companies .
The closeness with his grandfather, Rev. Calvin Helton also led him to Jesus Christ at the age of 9. Today Tony is a Member of the PAA- Professional Anglers Assoc., Mission Service Corps Missionary of the North American Mission Board, Deacon of Manley Baptist Church and an Ordained Minister.
